STEVE REEVES - Fitness & Film Festival - August 22 - 23, 2008

Here it is at last! Our first big event and we're ecstatic!

Our first event will be held in Steve Reeves home town of Valley Center, California, just north of San Diego. The magnificent Harrahs Rincon Casino & Resort and Steve Reeves International Inc. will be hosting this 2-day event.

Friday Evening:

Dinner and Entertainment :

To get things started, a reception and gathering in the Pavilion will occur 1 hour before dinner on Friday evening. Dinner and entertainment will follow immediately in the Pavilion.

The dinner will include your choice of a starter, entree, and dessert, rolls and butter, coffee, tea, and soft drinks. Choice of Prime Rib of Beef, Roasted Chicken Breast, Pan Roasted Salmon, or Vegetarian will be available. The complete menu and options are listed below. We will also have live music and entertainment throughout the evening.

Honoree Sandra Schakel (Reeves):

We are happy to announce Steve Reeves' first wife, Sandra Schakel, will be joining us for the event. During the dinner, we are planning to show a special film of Sandra and Steve, and later we'll be presenting her with a gift.

Home Movies of Steve Reeves:

We have selected some of the best films clips from Steve's home movies and they will be shown here exclusively. Transferred to digital format and fully restored, these home movies are not to be missed. Steve riding his bike in his early teens, in Hawaii with bodybuilder George Eifferman, and on the movie set of "Sandokan the Great" are just a few of the rare personal glimpses of Steve you'll get to see that evening.

In Addition:

We will have a silent auction, a Steve Reeves trivia contest, and other things that will certainly catch your interest.

We will have one new book loaded with very rare photos and we're currently working on a updated Steve Reeves POWERWALKING book. We will make every effort to have this book at the event.

Tour of Steve Reeves Ranch

We received permission for a limited number of people to take the tour of Steve's former ranch In Valley Center, CA. This is the first time it has been open to the public, ever! This is a 30-minute walking tour around the 14- acre property that will include viewing his former ranch house, pool, stables, private gym, and original first home (now located to a different part of the ranch). Due to limited parking on the ranch, transportation and entrance will be supplied by the hotel.

For the full story please read below. After meeting with Milton a few times over the year he said that he would like to update his book with 20 more pages, and not reissue the book as it is. The 20 pages would contain additional celebrities photo's signed to Steve. I have tried unsuccessfully to change his mind and told him that many fans would like to have his book just the way it is. At this point with all that we trying to accomplish I will move on to other projects. I wish Milton much success and hope he get it published. The first book sold somewhere around 1,200 copies. Milton is a great guy with his own vision about what he wants to do.

I met with Milton in Los Vegas where it all started for me with Steve Reeves International. When I went to Los Vegas to see a bodybuilding show in 1985 I purchased a book from that show called Steve Reeves One of a Kind from Steve Reeves who had a table selling Milton T. Moore Jr's book. Now 22 years later I have talked to Milton and plan to re-release his original book Steve Reeves One of a Kind. I have been trying for many years to have Milton release his book but he was not interested. After our meeting this week we agreed to work on several new projects together including re-releasing the book. Another project we will be working on is Milton Moore Jr. complete photo collection for the Steve Reeves fans. I will tell you more about this later. In case you don't know much about Milton he is one of the largest if not the largest collector of movie photograph in the world. In 2005 We have moved our operation south 70 miles from Malibu to Mission Viejo a South Orange County California town. Last year we purchase a home in the beautiful hills of Mission Viejo. Both of my daughters play club soccer for the Socal Blues and the drive down from our home was too much for us so we decided to move. My oldest daughters team won the National Championship this past year that was help at Disney's Wide World Of Sports complex in Orlando Florida. Her team is ranked #1 out of hundreds in the U.S.

We will keep our Post Office Box in Malibu for now but will also have one here in Mission Viejo. The city is located a few miles south of the Orange County airport (John Wayne International Airport). We're located just about 10 minutes from some of the greatest surfing beaches on the West Coast, where you will find me when I'm not working on Steve Reeves projects..

December 14, 2003 Steve Reeves His Legacy In Films and Dynamic Muscle building books are released

The two books are completed and out for the holidays. Many hours of love and labor were spent on these two great books by Dave Dowling, John Little and George Helmer. Thanks guys for such good work.

Here is the book you have always wanted to have. The Ultimate Steve Reeves film book. Dave Dowling and George Helmer have researched Steve Reeves for well over 20 years and have crafted the greatest book that will ever be written on this legendary star.. Materials from Steve Reeves personal archives, his hand written letters, contracts, and historical documents have given this book the authenticity that is required to write a great book on one of the worlds most popular actors.

This book will be 254 pages and have much color throughout. It will also have great black and white photos, color movie posters, behind the scenes shots, contracts and letters from people like Joseph E. Levine. You will get information on his films you have never heard about.
